My heat has been broken all year. I should really get it fixed but that would mean tracking down the maintenance man...he could be anywhere! I think I can handle it though for the next few days, cause then I'll be going home!! Free food, free electricity, free everything! Gotta love parents ^_^

Just wrote my second exam today. I can't believe the semester is coming to end, I feel like it just started. But I guess that's what happens when you're having fun...right? I can't wait for my Monday exam to be over and done with so I can have my 8 day break till my next exam. I'm going to be studying so much for it, I better do really well on it.

I've been watching "Never Mind the Buzzcocks" constantly lately. It is SO good! And hilarious. I've only been watching the later series, mostly cause I love Noel Fielding and he's only been the captain for two series. Everyone should watch it! It's a quiz show about music, but that's not all it's about. It's hard to describe. BUT good thing it's all on youtube, just gotta type in the name and whamo it's right there!

I've been drawing a lot lately and it's been really great! I've really missed being crafty/artsy this year. I left most of my craft supplies at home but I've been getting along. I drew two cute girls!! ^_^ with the rosyest cheeks!! I'll make sure to scan them when I go home for winter break!!

Also what do you think of the name change? I personally like it better, I think it's cuter!

Into The Wild

The week is almost done and I have finally bought some felt. Sadly though Dollarama only carries a pack of felt that has red, orange, black, white, purple and blue. Now I'm on the hunt for some grey and yellow felt. If anyone knows of a good craft store in Montreal hit me up!

Aside from that... this

is how I feel at the moment. I just want to cuddle up in my bed and sleep the day away. Wouldn't that be grand!

I should be taking a nap because I have class late tonight, but alas I'm about to watch an episode of How I Met Your Mother. It's currently my show to watch. I like picking shows and watching them through, it's kind of like a really long drawn out movie.

You will be my downfall

Just had a lovely breakfast. Egg, toast and a grapefruit. I love it when I actually muster up the energy to make myself a meal. Usually it's just a banana and some crackers, gosh I am lazy. I think the making breakfast was due to getting up early. You ask why I got up early? Well my cat, Tilly, likes to be fed at 8am. But that is still way too early for me so I get up at 9.30 and feed her. Most of the time she STILL has food in her bowl and she doesn't know it!!! It's so adorable!! She will be my downfall of my lazy behaviour....tears are filling my eyes as I type this (sarcasm ^_^)

This song has been stuck in my head all (well the past 2 hours) morning!

Anyways, on to studying for my Anthropology midterm tomorrow!! Woo!

What a crazy week. My computer broke down, I had a major essay due and we got Tilly's hat in the mail!! She is definitely the cutest cat ever in the hat! And she hates it so much! She tried so long and hard to get it off that I finally gave in and took it off her. But she was too cute ^_^

Halloweeeeen!!

What a great day it was! Well it was actually really cold out but it was Halloween!! I was so excited. I dressed as a vampire from the 70's, I know really cool :p.

We watched horror movies last night (well just one, Let the Right One In) and ate pumpkin pie and peanut butter chocolate things, it was so great!!

I know the crust looks a little shotty, I had some trouble with it. It didn't turn out as good as I would have liked. BUT it still tasted fantastic!!!! (I've already eaten a whole one I think, I made TWO!!!)

All in all it was a great day/evening and we all went to bed at respectable hours aka 11pm. We are such old men hahaha!!

Hi!

Wow my first post. What a daunting task I’ve laid out for myself. I hope I don’t screw it up. Eeepp!! I’m gonna be frank, I don’t know exactly what this little blog here is going to be all about but here’s to hoping I find my answer soon.

So let’s see…I’m a student in Montreal, such a great city. It’s grey here a lot but on the days that it’s sunny it’s like a whole new world you get to experience. Everything is so vibrant and the colours of the leaves on the trees are to die for. I’ve taken so many pictures of them, just gotta get them developed now.

I’m originally from Toronto and Toronto might always be my home, but I’m slowly starting to fall in love with Montreal. There’s just so much to see and so much to do!! I’ve recently found a really great photo place (at least to me it’s great, it’s only like $20 a roll of film!!) it’s kinda far from me but I don’t mind. I’ve been meaning to explore more but it’s just scary for me. You see I can’t speak French and well all the best places in town are in the French areas…I should really get on that, the learning French thing.
